As I was creating Beloved I truly had a heart-felt warmth. For this reason, I was initially going to name this piece ‘My Heart’ because its characteristics resemble those of my own heart. It is bold, delicate, and up close. However, once it was completed, I was reminded of the love that God has for us and that He calls us His beloved.
This artwork was created using colored pencils.
